Views of Angarrack SOLD
The snow scene was painted from a photo which originally included a car which had slid (almost) into the back door of the pub (Snow and ice are rare in this part of Cornwall). Steamers Hill is seen from the other side of the valley, so called as long ago the railway ran adjacent to it and required an extra shunter to push it up the incline before the viaduct was built.

These were painted on request, one because it has the rare sight of snow in Cornwall, the other as the client wanted a view of the Angarrack Inn: they got Steamer's Hill thrown in for good measure. (So called because the railway used to have to put two steam engines on to get the carriages up the incline before the modern track and viaduct were built)
